Privacy notice

micandido

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Draft This is a draft aligned with how micandido works today. It is not legal advice. Before you publish it, fill in the controller’s details and, if you can, have a lawyer read it. Two points in the code matter for this text: the name leaves the phone only when notifications are on or with a feedback message, and the protected-categories indication is special-category data.

This notice explains which data the micandido app processes, why, and which rights you have. It applies to the iPhone and Android app and, if you use it, to the web version. It is provided under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Privacy Code.

1. Data controller

The data controller is:

Data controller AiBanta Email: contactus@aibanta.com

A data protection officer has not been appointed. To exercise the rights in section 9, write to that address with the subject “Privacy micandido”.

2. Who the service is for

micandido is an aggregator of public calls, competitive exams, and other job opportunities. It helps you see the notices closest to what you have indicated in your profile.

The service is intended for people aged at least 18. It is not directed at minors. If you are under 18, do not use the app.

We do not create an account. We do not ask you for a password. On the phone we generate a random code (an installation identifier) that we use to recognise that installation, not your phone number and not an advertising identifier.

3. What data we process

Data you enter in your profile

Belonging to the protected categories is data about health or disability. It is special-category data. We process it only if you indicate it, in order to filter calls. If you do not indicate it, we do not have it.

We do not use the phone’s GPS location. Region and city are what you type.

Data generated by use of the app

Free text

If you describe your situation in your own words, that text is sent to our servers so we can derive profile filters from it. It may contain whatever you choose to write, including your name, age, or city. For this reading we use an artificial-intelligence service. Today that service is OpenAI. The text is used to fill in the filters: we do not use it to train our own models.

Notifications

If you turn notifications on, we also process:

If notifications stay off, the name is not sent to the server for this purpose.

Messages you send us

If you use “Report a problem” or write to us, we process the message, the installation identifier, the platform, and the app version. If you leave an email address, we use it to reply to you. If the profile contains a name, it may be attached to the message.

What we do not collect

We do not collect identity documents, tax codes, payment data, your contacts, photos, or content from other apps. We do not sell the data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Why we process it and on what basis

Purpose Legal basis
Show you the calls and apply the profile filters you asked us for Performance of the service you ask us to provide (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Remember on the phone your profile, applications, and discarded calls Performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(b))
Read free text and turn it into filters Performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(b))
Send you notifications about calls you have marked Consent, which you give by turning on notifications and the system permission (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time from the app or from the phone settings
Use the “protected categories” indication to exclude or include calls Explicit consent, which you give by filling in that field (Art. 9(2)(a)). If you do not fill it in, the data does not exist
Understand, in a form linked only to the installation identifier, how the app is used and which filters are common, in order to fix errors and improve results Legitimate interest in keeping a free service running and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not store the name in these statistics
Reply to reports and questions Performance of the request you send us (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, if you leave an email address, consent to be contacted back (Art. 6(1)(a))
Protect the service from abuse and faults Legitimate interest in security (Art. 6(1)(f))

The profile is not required to open the app. Without an educational qualification, an area, and citizenship, call filtering is less reliable and some results are not hidden. Notifications, the contact email, and the protected-categories field are optional.

We do not take automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you. The list of calls is a filter built on the data you entered: we do not submit applications on your behalf and we do not send your profile to the administrations that publish the calls.

5. Where the data is

On the phone. The full profile, the name, applications, discarded calls, and the installation identifier stay in the app’s local storage.

On our servers, when the app is connected to the backend:

The calls themselves are public notices. Reading them does not involve sending your profile to the body that published them. If you open the original website or PDF, that site’s own notice applies from that moment.

6. Who receives the data

The data is not made public. These providers process it on our behalf:

We may also disclose data to parties we must answer to by law, or to advisers bound by confidentiality, only where needed to handle a request or an obligation.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers process data in the United States or in other countries:

When data leaves the European Economic Area we use the safeguards provided by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, together with the measures required by the provider. You can ask for a copy by writing to contactus@aibanta.com.

8. How long we keep it

“Delete everything” in the profile clears the data on that phone. It does not by itself delete copies that have already reached the server. For those, write to us.

9. Your rights

You can ask us:

The request is free of charge. We reply within one month. Sometimes, to confirm that the request is yours, we may ask for a reference that helps us find the installation, because we do not have an account with which to identify you.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

10. Security

Access to the database is limited to the service’s systems. Data travels over encrypted connections. The installation identifier is a random code, not the name of the phone. No measure is infallible: if an incident occurs that involves a risk to you, we will notify you when the law requires it.

11. Changes

If the way we process data changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change concerns consent you have already given, we will flag it in the app before we apply it.
